What I loved was that it was a cool college town, but if you drove a few miles any way you were immediately in beautiful farmland. I remember thinking about you all when we were there. I knew from my brother that you lived there at some point. It's hard to move. I feel like I have left so many wonderful people who really have shaped who I am now. It's nice though to finally get to a place where you know you're going to be. I loved your post about soup and pumpkins. That sounds like so much fun!julie s.https://www.blogger.com/profile/17393053698349828377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3512642049971207057.post-13157676233411103222008-11-04T14:23:00.000-05:002008-11-04T14:23:00.000-05:00Hmmm, a gardener's dream!!! :) How nice to have gr...Hmmm, a gardener's dream!!! :) How nice to have grown there so much. I was born and raised in Iowa, and I don't live there any more either. But I have similar memories about it too. Especially the dirt! I have never lived in a place with dirt like Iowa!

I am also a first year homeschooling Mom. So I am just getting my feet wet! I am looking forward to checking in on your blog!
TammyShelby-Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01398597824191781146noreply@blogger.com
