Word-Filled Wednesday

I've noticed the past week or so that the spiders are starting their autumn spinning. I almost walked through one like this a few days ago, but this is a photo I took last September. The spider's intricate web is one of those things that just makes me say, "Wow."

"O Lord, what a variety of things you have made! In wisdom you have made them all. The earth is full of your creatures. ... Every one of these depends on you to give them their food as they need it. When you supply it, they gather it. You open your hand to feed them, and they are satisfied." (Psalm 24, 27&28)

  4. Beautiful picture. We had a writing spider make it's home in our window once. The boys watched it constantly- spinning it's web when it rained, making the webbing and laying it's egg sack, catching other bugs and eating the other writing spider that tried to move in on it. It was a great unplanned lesson.

  6. I've noticed this to in the last couple of weeks. Around here you definitely know when the season is turning cold because the big hairy ones start to move indoors *grin*, and they're definitely starting to make an attempt. YUCK! LOL.

  7. Sorry this is off topic... but please pray for Marsha (drewsfamilytx). I imagine you've heard the news.

I've added a Mr. Linky to my blog to "collect" all the specific blog posts of tributes, prayers and love in one place... so that it will be easier for Marsha to find in the days, weeks, and months ahead.

If you know of any, please send them over. http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/Suzanne/581057/

    Thanks.
