And just like that, all of our Big Events for the season are over. That's my girl on the right with her two best friends. They were maids in the play The Mystery at Shady Acres, a good old-fashioned who-done-it. We had terrible seats and I could barely see, but the play was fantastic. The director does a great job with a big group of high schoolers, and I am always amazed at the production. This is Laurel's third play, and I can definitely see that her comfort level on stage has grown. She was fabulous!
Now that all the performances are done, I am hoping we can settle in for some decorating. And really, I have got to start my Christmas shopping!

Bet this was fun - such a cute photo too.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot....I so enjoy plays, especially the local kind. I have a friend who has been in many over the years. She has recently "retired."
