Welcome!

Welcome to my new home! The walls are bare and I'm living out of boxes, but I'm ready for visitors. Please be sure to leave your calling card in my comments so I can add your name to my blogroll. I don't want to lose track of any of my friends! And take a minute to subscribe, too. (You can click on the Subscribe to Posts button at the bottom; as soon as I can, I'll get a handier button on the sidebar!)

And you're all invited to my Housewarming Party, coming up soon!

Hi --
I LOVE the fabric in your kitchen. Our kitchen counters used to look just like that green. Had I known I could make them look better just by stripping the inherited wallpaper and painting on a bright color we might have saved money ... but we had cabinet issues too.

Anyway, just dropping my card...

Hi, girl! I love your new place. Nice and roomy. Sorry I didn't bring a house warming gift. You'll just have to settle for a hug. (((hug))).

Hey! Love the new look! Now I can add your blog to Google Reader (it doesn't work with HSB).

After I commented about our similar wall mounted paper towel holder woes, I found an under the cabinet pt holder at Ikea.

The CrossEyed Cricket opens once a year to do a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity Loudon Co.

I found the papertowel holder at the Ikea website, but the Atlanta store appears to be where I-75 & I-85 merge.

Hey Sarah!

I love reading your blog. Your kitchen is adorable. I love projects that change rooms!

Hi again!

I don't really "know" Neal and Kristina; their blogs were some of the first I read when I started blogging over at HSB.

Student teaching at DB, huh? Brave lady! I went to a county school, but there was a little park/playground right next to DB where some friends and I used to bring our takeout after work and eat. Now I can't eat Japanese without wanting to swing!

Thanks for your input on my entry, "Reading... *must* we compare our children?!". I'm glad you pointed out the "reverse" -- the older helping the younger.

So, what is the deal with everyone leaving HSB? Am I missing something? :)

BTW, thanks for letting me know you were moving. (I think I saw something within the past couple of weeks that made me wonder.)

Also, thanks for having the different identity options... those who only allow google/blogger and open id are a bit frustrating at times.

I found you through Marbel. I love your new place too even though I never saw your old place to compare it too. LOL

So, who will have a house warming party first, me or you? Loved what you said about blogging and not having to paint over a hand print...it made me tear up, and it motivated me...Now I just need to do something with this motivation!!
