Shelf Life

The good thing about a shelf breaking in a large cabinet that has a solitary purpose of holding (too many) homeschooling materials ...

… is that you find all kinds of things you forgot you had.

Yep.

  3. Boy do I know that feeling. Just the other day I straightened out our bookshelf and came across books I totally didn't remember I ordered. Also, once the shelf looked all pretty, guess who wanted to check it out? All 5 children! That's a good thing.

  4. Ouch. Did you find multiple copies of things because you thought you had lost them?

Our CD's have been disorderly since our middle child started walking. His little brother was helping himself to them yesterday and found a hundred dollar bill I went digging through the garbage to find two Christmas ago! I don't know, maybe such chaos is a good thing.

  5. Uh oh. I cleaned off our overloaded shelves Friday after we officially finished up our school days. It is amazing what you can find. :-)

  6. I fear for our shelves too! Because of the very well founded fear I squirrel books away here and there on shelves all over the house. the other day a stumbled across a treasure trove of books I had bought last year that we will need in the next few weeks. LOL!!

Hope your can salvage the shelf!
