Spring Where You Are Photo Challenge

Lisa at The Berry Patch is having a spring photo contest. She's got three prizes to give away, and the contest is simple! All you have to do is document what kind of spring is happening in your area this week. I'm not sure that Lisa, who is in Maine, really wants to know what lovely things are happening here in Tennessee this weekend, but here are a few snapshots from our yard today (and my daughter took these--isn't she fabulous?):

Grape hyacinths

The last of the daffodils

Flowering crabapple

The azaleas are just starting

And the redbud is truly breathtaking.

What's blooming in your neck of the woods this week? Go out and take some pictures, write a post, and sign up at The Berry Patch!

  1. Oh, I'm SOOOOOO jealous! They are beautiful.

  2. I clicked through to you from Lisa's Photo Challenge. Your Milligan College link caught my eye. I know it's a small school, but we had an old youth pastor who graduated from Milligan (in the 90's), and I have a friend who graduated around 1985.

Your redbuds are gorgeous. I'm in southern VA, we must be a few weeks behind you still, since ours aren't blooming yet!

  3. WWWAAAAHHH!!! Okay, I guess I can't complain. After all, it's my contest isn't it?!?! ;-) VERY jealous of all your lovely blooming & green things. There is STILL lots of snow here but we've had rain for the last two days so things are finally starting to turn a tad bit less white. ;-) Thanks for playing, Sarah!

  4. They are so beautiful! Mu husband and two oldest children planted tulips back in the fall, and we have a whole beautiful bed of them coming up now. I love it!

  5. I came through Lisa's photo challenge, too! Lovely photos. You have a lot of what I've posted too...isn't spring just SO breathtaking!!!

  6. I love your flowers! Everything that your dd photographed is so lovely.
