October Reading

It is truly impossible for me to go to sleep at night without reading. I had a fantastic reading month in October. Are you looking for a few good books? Check out my reading blog, SmallWorld Reads, to see the books I read and reviewed in October. While you're there, check out the links to other reviews on my sidebar and my favorite books of last year.

What are you reading now, and what's on your reading list?

  1. I have to read before I go to sleep soon. I've read a couple really good books the last couple weeks. One was Beverly Cleary's memoir, "A Girl from Yamhill." Another was "A Great Idea at the Time: The Rise, Fall, and Curious Afterlife of the Great Books," by Alex Beam. Also, have you read anything by Haven Kimmel? She's the author of that popular memoir "A Girl Named Zippy," but she has some really good novels too, which are very intelligent and have a lot of theology in them too. She's got a seminary degree!
