Wordless Wednesday: Lego Conference

I was going through my iPhoto library today, mostly deleting photos, when I came across this whole series of Lego pictures that my 9-year-old took. I was cracking up, especially when I came across pictures of The Hand invading the good Lego people. But something about this one just made me wondering, "What was he thinking?" The Lego guys are obviously engaged in some kind of conference, a huddle. What are they meeting about? Why was it photo worthy? What was the dialogue going on in my son's head? I love these years of imagination, unlike anything we as adults can recapture, even as we play with our children.

  1. What a great WW photo and story. I love it! It's funny what the kids will photograph and videotape. It makes great blog fodder.

  2. I LOVE the Lego conference! We're lego fans around here too - especially since they've been corralled and I rarely step on one in the dark anymore. We have these wonderful museum-type dinosaurs. I used to find them in the most peculiar places - eating supper together, having a parade, doing laundry...

  3. I too have a bunch of these pictures and videos of lego life. Very interesting. Taking pictures of their creations is hugely helpful when I want them to clean them up! They can separate with the things when they can take a picture of it so they will know how to make it again if they want to... but they never do, they always end up making something totally new! :)
